Hello, my name is Tiffany Waddell. I am the Founder and Owner of "Blends By Us " in Brooklyn, New York. “Blends by Us” is an independently owned Juice Bar serving everything from fresh pressed juices, smoothies, açaí bowls, and flowers on special occasions.

On May 5th, 2023, just a little after 4am

I received a heartbreaking call. In an unfortunate freak accident a school bus crashed into my juice bar. I made my way over there immediately, and saw emergency responders already on the scene. As onlookers watched in disbelief I was faced with the devastating reality that my business which I have poured my heart and soul into will be closed indefinitely. However, in the midst of it all I was thankful that no one was seriously injured.

Due to structural damage the Department of Buildings deemed the building unsafe for all of its tenants, therefore, we have all been forced to evacuate. While the physical damage can be repaired my business will undoubtedly suffer irreparable financial effects. Especially because I am unable to retrieve the necessary supplies to relocate. “Blends By Us” is a beloved and necessary staple in the community as finding healthy and affordable dietary options are becoming more difficult with the passage of time.

I’m asking anyone with a passion for health, community, and entrepreneurship to please find it in their heart to help my business overcome this unfortunate unforeseen circumstance. Any little bit will help, and if you are unable to donate yourself please share it on your social media platforms.
