Hi, my name is Ion, I’m 26 years old and currently living and working in Germany.

I was born in Moldova, but at the age of 10 I moved to Portugal with my mother and two siblings to build a better life. Things haven’t been easy. In 2020, my father passed away due to health issues, and around the same time I suffered a back injury in Portugal. That period forced me to grow up fast and figure out how to support myself, both emotionally and financially.

Looking for better opportunities, I moved to Germany and have been working nonstop ever since. I’ve worked more than 25 different jobs trying to find stability and a path forward. Right now, I’m working full-time with overtime as an electrician helper, and on the side I deliver drinks to customers to make extra money. I’m doing everything I can—but it’s still not enough to get ahead.

The debt I’m struggling with didn’t come from luxury or careless spending. I didn’t buy a new car, go on vacations, or waste money on things I didn’t need. I invested in equipment—a camera, a laptop, and tools—to try and build something for myself and my girlfriend in photography and videography. We truly believed we could turn it into a business and a future.

Unfortunately, for the past 2.5 years, things haven’t worked out as planned. The income hasn’t been stable, and the pressure of debt has kept building.

That’s why I’m here.

If 25,000 people donated just €1, I could completely clear my debt and finally have a fresh start. Sometimes it’s not about one person giving a lot, but many people giving a little.

I know I’m still young, and people often say “you have time.” But in today’s economy, it doesn’t feel that way. Every month matters, and being stuck in debt makes it incredibly hard to move forward or build anything meaningful.

My goal is simple: to clear this debt and start rebuilding my life the right way. I want to move forward, create stability, and eventually invest in real estate—something I’ve always dreamed about as a way to secure a future for myself and my family.
