Support for Elana’s Recovery

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

I’m reaching out during one of the hardest times of my brother and sister in laws lives. Their precious baby Elana was born prematurely with many complications along the way and is currently in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Cinicinnati Children's Hospital. While they are so grateful for the amazing medical care they are receiving, the emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming.

Every day brings new challenges — from medical expenses and transportation costs to time away from work. They are doing everything they can to stay strong for Elana, but the costs are quickly adding up beyond what they can manage alone.

Mary's FMLA is running out in the next few weeks and her STD (Short Term Disability) will be ending next week. This has been an extra burden that has been added to an already volatile situation.

I created this GoFundMe in hopes that with your help, they can focus more on Elana’s healing and less on the mounting bills. Your donation will go directly toward:

Medical expenses and NICU fees

Transportation to and from the hospital

Basic needs while they take time off work to be present

Any post-hospital care Elana may need
