I am Jason. I have terminal cancer which originated in my thyroid and spread to my lymph nodes and liver. I am under the care of Hospice of Mercy / Common Spirit out of Durango. At the young age of 60, my health status has drastically declined. I need to rest often; I can no longer work or engage in my favorite activities such as art, hiking, and searching for wild mushrooms. My wife Janie and I have been a local team for home care management services. Now Janie works 15 hours weekly; the remainder of the time, she cares for me. Income has been drastically cut while the bills grow.

My goal and the goal of my friends is to focus my remaining time on a good quality of life, surrounded by love from family and friends. My friends want to relieve the burden of financial worry. I humbly request support to cover our current and growing expenses not covered by insurance, i.e., groceries, gas for the car, and utilities. The car needs a clutch, flywheel, an engine seal, and associated parts. This is what my wife drives to work. We need the car. Any contributions, whatever the size, make a significant difference.
