UPDATE JANUARY 29, 2026

I wanted to share an update and thank everyone for the overwhelming support.

Bruce suffered a brain hemorrhage and was initially admitted to the ICU at Royal Columbian Hospital on December 18th, 2025. He has since been transferred to Langley Memorial Hospital, where he continues to receive care and monitoring.

This has been an incredibly difficult and unexpected time for Bruce, Stella, and their loved ones. While there is still a long road ahead, we are grateful for the medical teams involved and for every message, donation, and share.

Your generosity is helping ease the financial stress during recovery, and it truly means more than words can express. Thank you for standing with Bruce

He woke up but was still confused, which will get better. Thankfully, the left arm and leg are moving. Communication is very hard because he can not talk, but he will in the future, I believe. He is fighting with it and he is strong man so I believe him he can do this!

Hi, my name is Kelsey and I am setting up this go fund me for my coworker Sungwon (Bruce) Lee. We work at the BCLIQUOR store in Fort Langley and Bruce is well known within the community. On Thursday December 18th 2025, Bruce had a medical emergency that resulted in advanced care paramedics, where he was intubated and taken to Royal Columbian hospital. Bruce remains in the ICU, and is currently awaiting emergency brain surgery. I will update you more, once we find out any other details. As for now, all I can ask, is please donate to help Stella (Bruce's wife) and their 2 children, during this unimaginable time. Any and all amounts help.
