Relieve Financial Strain for Jorge Aguilar's Family

My name is Silvia Aguilar, wife of Jorge Aguilar (seen in the picture above). I have come to GoFundMe and created this page in hopes of obtaining help and liberating my family from some financial burden. My husband has been immobile for the past 2 months. What we thought was going to be a promising surgery to get rid of a Cavernous malformation in the left thalamus turned into a living nightmare.

Jorge had a stroke in 07/2022 due to a tumor in his brain. After the stroke, he lost strength on his left side of the body and his vision became blurred, disabling him from completing daily living tasks and leading to loss of employment. He underwent surgery on 07/23/2024 to remove the tumor. The surgery was supposedly a success, but Jorge has not recovered and I was told there is no saying if he will recover at all.

I have been providing for my family of 4 for the past 2 years. It has been very tough to stay afloat with rent, bills, and college bills for my family. I have maxed out of options and hope you can understand my situation. Anything donated will greatly make a difference. God bless you.

He venido a GoFundMe y he creado esta página con la esperanza de obtener ayuda y liberar a mi familia de alguna carga financiera. Mi marido ha estado inmóvil durante los últimos 2 meses. Lo que pensamos que iba a ser una cirugía prometedora para deshacerse de una malformación cavernosa en el tálamo izquierdo se convirtió en una pesadilla viviente.

Jorge tuvo un derrame cerebral el 07/2022 debido a un tumor en su cerebro. Después del derrame cerebral, perdió fuerza en el lado izquierdo del cuerpo y su visión se volvió borrosa, lo que le impedió completar las tareas de la vida diaria y lo llevó a la pérdida de empleo. Se sometió a una cirugía el 23/07/2024 para extirpar el tumor. La cirugía fue supuestamente un éxito, pero Jorge no se ha recuperado y me dijeron que no se dice si se recuperará en absoluto.

He estado manteniendo a mi familia de 4 durante los últimos 2 años. Ha sido muy difícil mantenerse a flote con el alquiler, las facturas y las facturas de la universidad para mi familia.
