As many of you may know, my beautiful friend Ashley has been battling Stage 4 colorectal cancer since June of 2019.

Being diagnosed with cancer is not something you can prepare for mentally, physically, or practically in any way. Immediately upon Ashley’s diagnosis, she has had to endure extreme medical procedures and treatments that have completely changed the course of her life and her ability to fully live it.

Seven long years have gone by full of ups and downs, miracles, and also extreme hardships. At this point, Ashley has very limited options left in terms of her treatment, and she is in need of support now more than ever, especially financially. She loves tattooing and making her art more than anything, but unfortunately is not able to maintain her practice at this time in a way that is anywhere near sustainable.

Relieving her financial burden will allow Ashley to focus on fulfilling her treatment and living her life in the best quality possible. The very last thing someone battling cancer at this stage should be concerned about is money.

If you have heard of Ashley, been tattooed by her or are a friend of her’s, you know she has an un-dimmable light and a resilient spirit paralleled by none. She has been nothing short of exemplary in her fight against her cancer - she has remained fully dedicated to her treatment even on the darkest days when she has felt like giving up. She has continued to support others with her wisdom, her sense of humor and her open heart, even when she is the one who has needed it most over all these years.
