Relief Support & Helping To Rebuild Morocco

***Please note that this appeal is to support a close and personal friend and former player of Angkor City FC. He is currently in Morocco and trying to help his local community. OFFICIAL FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGNS

One of closest friends Yab, was witness to mother nature at her deadliest this morning when an earthquake hit Morocco causing devestation. Measuring 6.8 on the rictor scale the sheer magnitude and damage caused it's unimaginable. Thankfully he lives to to the tale but unfortunately thousands are not so lucky. I watched this man watch his country in the world cup in Qatar and saw how passionate and patriotic all Moroccans are. I've coached him, was there the day he finished his business degree and he has always picked up the phone anytime, day or night that I've needed him. On behalf of my friend and his family I would like to begin this fundraiser to remind him and all Moroccans that you're not alone and in time of disaster the human race is one family

Our target here is to help provide food and water to the families in Chichawa and the surrounding areas. These smaller villages; Dawar Alkhmis

Dawar Amandar, Dawar Tjakalat,

Dawar Rkounat, Dawar Anzal, Dawar Aghbar, Dawar Amilous, Dawar Tikoukasome are home to 1500 most of whom haven't been reached by rescue teams yet. These are the people we're trying to reach in order to give rescue teams more time to save lives.

All money donated will be spent at Marjane Supermarket and we will be buying food and water for local families. Donors have the option to pay direct to the supermarket chain and Yab and his friends on the ground can collect groceries and distribute them.

For $20 we can create a grocery basket that will contain a combination of the items below;

- Wheat, Rice

- Tea, Coffee, Sugar

- The Laughing Cow Products

- Honey, Milk, Canned Food

- Baby Formula & Diapers.

We will continuously be posting updates and videos of the groceries being distributed. Once again I stress that anyone wanting to help on a larger scale or doesn't know myself, Yab or isn't a fan of the football club, please donate through one of the official channels or direct to the supermarket chain.
