Hi there,
I'm organising a relief effort to help ease the damage that Typhoon Rai (Odette) caused in the island of Bohol, Philippines. The estimated damage according to CNN Philippines is about P9 billion /£135.5 million/$180 million. I'm only planning to raise £7,818 or around P500,000 to cover as many of the barangay (or villages) in the town of Dimiao.
UPDATE: As of 8 January 2022, with the donation coming in from private and GoFundMe accounts, we decided to focus our last relief effort towards the city of Ubay, Bohol where hundreds of family are still without a home. Take a look yourself.

UPDATE: As of 26th December 2021, with your donation, we were able to successfully cover 2 barangay with a total of 212 households.

My family and relatives will be handling this effort directly so your money would go straight to those in need. We will do another funding once we've analysed the full damage of each of the household. Perhaps we can help with purchasing simple materials for the houses such as roof and wooden boards for their houses.
The plan
We will be packing the following per household:
5 kl of rice
10 packs of noodles
5 canned corned beef/beef loaf
5 canned sardines
The storm

Just imagine this type of wind blowing above you in a house with no roof, with your family and kids sheltering for safety underneath the kitchen table.
The damage
The team
We've done this before, and we're the family that did a Santa visit on each household in the village last year to surprise the family and kids for Christmas. That was the plan this year but unfortunately this has now changed.
We're also coordinating our efforts with Marjory Visarra Vasquez in the UK and Cait McElroy in the US.
With your help we can put a targeted effort and relief towards as many of the affected barangays in the town of Dimiao. Let's make this happen!
