Relief funds for medical bills

Hello! My name is Tanya or you may know me as Vic, and I am looking for support to help me cover current and upcoming medical costs after a cycling accident from this summer.

On 2 August 2020, I had a bike accident that resulted in an open fracture of my left clavicle that required immediate surgery. In addition to being an open wound, the nature of the break was that of a comminuted fracture, and will require a second surgery to remove the plates that have been placed in there to help the bone heal.

I am very fortunate to have health insurance, but given the extensive healing process I am still undergoing and all the medical and physical therapy visits, I am in a position where I could use assistance to cover the cost of my current and upcoming bills.
My second surgery is set to take place next year, after my deductible and out-of-pocket will be reset. Both are going up next year, so between my FSA and any funds I acquire here, I am hoping to have the money set aside to pay off the majority of the surgery bills as they come. This will leave me more opportunity to focus on the small, although ongoing bills such as my weekly physical therapy and follow-up doctor visits.
I've set the amount based on the balance of my current bills I have left to pay (I have managed to cover some costs with what was leftover from my 2020 FSA money), the likely cost of Out-of-Pocket before my insurance coverage fully kicks in, and the expectation of having those smaller, but ongoing bills due to recovery. I will have some FSA funds to use next year, so I am also taking that coverage into account. Once the surgery is scheduled and underway, my fundraising goal might change, but for now I am being conservative with the amount I will need.
Thank you for taking the time to read, share, and contribute. Your support means the world to me.
