This GoFundMe is being created to assist. With the costs associated with the on going care and transport of Carolina Dogs in need following the recent seize, in California, of over 40 Carolina Dogs. While the shelter cannot directly accept funds for any one cause, 501(C)(3) "Pitter Patter rescue" operated by shelter worker Kim Wells is able to accepts funds on behalf of the Carolina Dogs. Pitter Patter has paid $2,600 in transportation costs to get four of the Carolina Dogs where they need to go (Tony, Fern, Flora, and Fauna). We are setting the goal higher for remaining Carolina Dogs in need in relation to the ongoing crisis surrounding "California Carolina Dogs".

There was a previous GoFundMe for the situation that was deactivated and shut down, resulting in donations being refunded. This GoFundMe is started by a third party on behalf of Pitter Patter and the shelter.
