On Wednesday, July 1 at around 1 am Brian, my Brother-In-Law, woke to a loud bang from his apartment.  He stepped outside to see what the noise was, and while talking to some neighbors realized that an electric pole from his back yard had fallen on his roof.  When he got back inside he heard some dripping coming from the ceiling and realized later that it was transformer fluid leaking into the apartment.  He quickly got his two precious dogs, Conan and Xena to safety in his car.  Shortly thereafter the transformer blew, starting a fire.  Brian got out with his dogs, phone, car and the clothes on his back.  Everything else was lost to the fire.  Brian is eternally grateful that if this had to happen, it happened while he was in the apartment and able to save his babies.

Thank goodness Brian did have renters insurance, and he is in the process of sorting that out.  However, there are short term immediate needs in order for Brian to get back on his feet and start repairing all he lost.  Any and all donations are greatly appreciated for my AWESOME Brother-In-Law who has worked so hard to becoming the man he is today.
