Hello,

My Name is Chelsea & I am creating this GoFundMe to try and alleviate some of the stress of a total Loss, for my Dear Mom, Wendy, after waking out of a deep sleep to learn her entire Apartment was engulfed in smoke, and her Kitchen, the only exit, engulfed in Flames.

It is the Grace of god She, her Roomate & her beloved pets are all safe. Windows were popping. Smoke was rolling, and she got out with a light Pair of a pajamas.

We are starting from absolute Scratch. She has no clothing, eyeglasses, complete Loss of all furnishings, personal items, anything material has been destroyed.

We have had 1 emergency Vet visit for her sweet cat, Salem, as he was the last one out. He was not well. But our incredible, selfless FireFighting team were trained in animal CPR & had him on oxygen immediately. The AMC met with us late last night and stabilized him, and bathed him. But there will be followups as the inhalation did a number on his tiny lungs.
