Hey all! 

This pandemic has been scary and stressful for everyone, however undocumented workers
do not have the same financial aid and protections that we do, so we are starting a gofundme to hopefully offer some relief to them and their families.

Due to hours cut at all restaurants and most businesses, and since our own restaurants are closing for at least a week, maybe more due to a positive Covid test result, many of our undocumented coworkers are feeling the pressure to find a way to make ends meet while also fearing for their safety and the safety of their families. 

We believe that that shouldn’t have to choose between their physical health and the health of their families and an insubstantial paycheck that won’t pay their bills. We are hoping that if we can each contribute anything from our own funds it would help our coworkers immensely, whether that’s with groceries, gas, or maybe we can help if they’re short on rent. 

Let’s keep our coworkers safe and healthy once our restaurants reopen and hopefully give them some peace of mind in the meantime. 

We set our goal low but we have about 15 people who need financial assistance and gofundme allows us to surpass our set goal so please share this so we can get as much assistance as possible!
