Hello everyone!

This is Amal, a student from Frankfurt am Main/Germany.

Especially because I am active for Palestine, I keep coming across countless people obviously in desperate need for any form of help. Mostly financial support in the first place, understandably. As there are basically no sources of income, yet extreme costs the people still have to face.

Which all of course is no wonder with the situation on the ground in Gaza remaining as catastrophic as it is, despite the so called most recent “ceasefire agreement”.

Which is how I eventually met my friends in Gaza, whom I am in close touch/interact with daily. It is to them I dedicate this campaign and seek to support as best as I somehow can.

Now, I of course want to help as much as I possibly can. But probably as many more of you out there, I quickly have to come to the realisation that I as an individual simply lack the necessary capacities to handle all of this barely adequately.

So eventually I came up with the idea of setting up this campaign through which I aim at building a relief fund for the bunch of people that I have gotten in touch with so far. Also simply for practical reasons, trying to get the financial aid needed to the respective people as effectively and easily as possible, because unfortunately that is very difficult under the given circumstances. Besides that I hope for this fund to become an easily accessible means of direct action for all of us to get to contribute in whatever ways are possible for us, thereby hopefully gathering great power, piece by piece.

The donations will be distributed evenly of course and all individuals receiving the aid are verified!

Currently they involve my dear friends:

Ghazal M., her six sisters, mother, an infant as well as weakened elderly grandparents with no provider or source of income since their father/husband was killed in the bombing of their house.

As you may know already, money is urgently needed for essential existential needs such as food, water, rent, clothes (especially during the winter), hygiene products, transportation, shelter… the list goes on and on.

And you know the game: mutual aid makes THE difference, is THE game changer.

If enough of us contributed even just a little bit, it makes a real impact.

Please never underestimate the great influence you actually hold! Even if “only” through very small/limited direct actions at first sight. But the collective, several such small actions added together, are what can make a change.

So I am asking you: let’s come together and all make our best possible efforts.

FYI: You will most likely be aware of the very complicated procedures related to trying to get financial aid to the people in Gaza.

It is for this very reason that I will be collecting the funds in my name.
