Relief fund, for Non hodgkins Lymphoma

Hello, my name is Sophie and that lovely lady in the photo is my dear mumsy Wendy.

Wendy has recently found out she has a rare incurable form of Non-hodgkins Lymphoma. This beautiful woman has been through so much in these last 3 years, She is one of a kind the hardship she has endured would be enough to ruin anyone's out look on life but not my mums.

Here's her story:

in 2020 she selflessly gave up work to care for her father at home with his battle with lung cancer. Till his last breath she was there by his side giving everything to such a hard time. From the minute he lost his life she then took over care for her mother who is battling late stage vascular dementia and through out her diagnoses, chemo and hospital appointments she continues to be her fulltime carer, she lives with her mother as she doesn't want her to go into a home she wants to make sure she's happy and safe in her own home for as long as she can be.

My mum found out she had cancer in July 2023, two days later her dear sister in-law passed from liver cancer, my mum then flew out to menorca to support her niece and nephew without a moments hesitation and delayed her treatment to be there for her family when they needed her.

This woman is nothing short of an angel, she's a grandmother to 4 beautiful grandchildren between the ages of 4 and 1. She's their world, she dotes on all 4 when they come to visit.

I wish to raise money to give my mum some breathing space to take off the worry of bills from her shoulders she only receives carers allowance so has very little to her name, I want to raise money so she can make memories with her grandchildren, so she can be happy and actually start living her life how she wants to live it without restriction. She's given so so much for so many people in her life and I just wish I could give to her all she deserves and more. Because she's amazing, selfless and would do anything for anyone she's truly loved so much and if love could cure her she wouldn't be ill in the first place. We are afraid of the future to come but we will enjoy every moment now.
