Relief Fund for Galina Curlee
Donation protected
Hello folks,
My name is Blake and I am a manager at the Chop House in Tanger Mall in Sevierville. Last night, one of my dear friends and fellow employee Galina lost her house in the wild fires. The high winds damaged a power line that sparked the fire to ignite near their house while they were eating dinner. Once the fire began to spread, they started trying to use their hose to put it out for several hours but were unsuccessful. Once the fire department showed up, the whole house was on fire. They managed to save two of their pets, the clothes on their backs, and their shoes they were wearing. Two of their cats are still missing. As they were getting into the rescue vehicle, the whole mountain was in flames. They barely escaped before being trapped. They are currently staying in a hotel in knoxville until conditions improve and the power comes back on in Gatlinburg, at which time they will be staying at a friend's house.
With the holidays around the corner, I wanted to setup a page to help raise money to meet their needs. Their immediate needs right now are clothes and money for food and shelter. The home was insured, but the process will most likely take a long time before any relief will be available.
Any contribution would mean the world to me. This family is very kind and deserving of any help that we can offer. Please feel free to donate anything you can manage. Galina's husband Jim will have access to the funds to help them in this time of dire need.
