I've been a Southern CA landlord for over 15 years. Prior to my nightmare tenant, all of my other tenants were great, and most were referred via family, colleagues, or friends. I'm still in touch with all of them.

My last tenant has turned out to be a 'professional tenant'. She stopped paying rent and would not respond to service orders. She made many false claims and filed several untrue lawsuits to derail the eviction process.
