Dec.1 one of my worst nightmares happened. Near our home in B.C at 530pm the love of my life and bestfriend was hit by a car in a crosswalk by someone driving 50km/h..the impact made him go unconscious. Everyone was told to prepare for the worst. He suffered extreme brain tears and barley made it alive. He laid in a coma for three weeks.  Everyday I sat by his side begging him to live and hoping for a miracle.  Someone answered my prayers and he awoke. But that was only the beggining of our hard journey. He has surpassed expectations but has the longest road to go still.  This situation has cost us our jobs, our home, and things will never be the same.He has a release date as of two days ago and its was shorter then expected. We have looked into what resources there are and unfortunately what we have been offered is barely anything, we will be struggling financially even worse than we were before. He will need 24/7 help with care for the next while and he wants me there with him and I want to be there with him. I have watched him go through this awful experience and it has been heartbreaking to witness.  I have only a couple weeks to figure things out like a home, furniture and food to try and help transition him out of the hospital, and I am in panic mode. I cannot even afford glasses for myself and can barely see , but of course my first priority is the man I love whose situation is way worse. I just want to get us settled somewhere and to be there at least the first month before I figure out work so he doesnt have to stress as much as he is right now. He should only have to worry about getting better. Watching a man have to relearn everything including walking and speech is beyond saddening, especially when hes been your rock for so long.
