Relief for the Terry Family

What started as a little dizziness quickly turned into night of unfortunate events for Ashley Terry and her family. It was brought to their attention she was having a stroke! The ER Doc came in to her room and sadly expressed that she had a dissected vertebral artery and it had caused a stroke in her brain stem and cerebellum.

They would need to transfer her to a bigger hospital with a better neurology unit. She was loaded into an ambulance and brought to St. Mark’s in SLC and has been there since 11/25/20.

Over the last few days, she has received sobering news from countless doctors and nurses that she has lost a lot of her basic functions like walking, balance, coordination, visual focus, etc. because of the stroke.

Her neurologist expressed that had the stroke been 2 mm one way or another on her brain, she would have died or been paralyzed for life! Ashley said that the placement of her stroke was so exactly miraculous in that she only lost relatively minor functions.

Due to all this, she is unable to help bring income into her loving family of 5 kids. They are down to one income and she will be out of commission for quite some time due to physical therapy. The hospital and physical therapy bills are extensive as it is. If you can donate, please help this loving family.
