Hey y'all. I'm a friend of Francesca's and a fellow instructor posting of my own accord on her behalf. The Makery is a pillar of knowledge and generosity in this community both online and in Texas. There's been a fire and massive damage to both the structure of the studio and all the resources inside. Everyone is safe, but the future is far from certain.

More details will be posted as I have them. If you are able and willing, please donate what you can to assist Francesca and her husband Nick as this is going to be a long road of loose ends, emotional turmoil, insurance claims, and I can't even fathom what else. They have bills, they have instructors they still want to compensate and students they want to take care of, not to mention their own health and wellbeing.
