Relief for the Lee family

Hey everyone , As most know my mom was diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago. When they first discovered her cancer she was able to get surgery and have her tumor removed. We had hoped that was the end of her battle , but what was suppose to be her 6 month scan was a year later scan due to covid. At her scan to make sure she was still cancer free they discovered sadly the tumor came back And was at stage 3c. since that scan my mom has under gone maximum radiation and countless chemotherapy sessions... fast forward she had another scan a few weeks ago .... we did not get the news we were hoping for..... her treatments have stopped working and the tumor is still growing.. the doctors have nothing but one option left for her. A very expensive immunotherapy treatment that is still in trial so unfortunately has no health covered or funding for... costing almost $10,000 a month ! Although we know it may not work ... we still aren't ready to give up her fight yet. She also wants to go to Toronto or possibly the mayo clinic in the States for a second opinion

I'm hoping with the gofund me we could raise enough funds so my mom could try out this therapy and to also help their extra costs.

With countless trips to the hospitals , the parking in the city, sometimes needing a place to stay and gas so many things have added up for them..
