On Saturday April 11th, we learned that Colby Cave had passed away, being taken from his wife Emily, their families, and the entire hockey community far too soon.
Colby Cave was loved by many throughout the hockey community. He was captain of the Swift Current Broncos, a great teammate on the Providence Bruins, Boston Bruins, Edmonton Oilers, and Bakersfield Condors. He will be missed by many.
I cannot myself imagine the grief and pain that his wife Emily, and the rest of his family and friends are feeling right now and while there is no way to remove that grief, by gathering funds I hope we can at least ease some of the burden.
Rest in peace Colby. We will all miss you dearly.
