My name is Kelsey and I’m trying to raise money to help with my mom’s medical expenses. On April 12, 2021 my mom was admitted to the hospital due to severe possible kidney pain. This quickly escalated to much more. Complete kidney failure, multiple surgeries/testing, dialysis, lung hemorrhaging, being put into a medically induced coma, intubation to help her breathe. Prior to this she was very healthy. She was eventually diagnosed with Goodpasture Syndrome, a very rare autoimmune disease. She was sent immediately to NYU in New York City. As you can imagine, the bills are adding up. But that’s not all.

My father has not left her side the entire time (or at least for what COVID will allow). Unfortunately hospital visiting hours are limited. My dad has traveled by train from upstate NY down to Manhattan MULTIPLE times, AND is staying in a hotel!!!!!!!

We thought we were on the road to better days when she was released and came home about 1.5 months later. Then not even a week later, she was admitted again and is now back in NYU. My dad once again, is not leaving her side and has bought the next train ticket back down to Manhattan. I’m sure everyone can imagine the financial stress this has taken on our family. Any help is greatly appreciated for this selfless, hard working, amazing woman.
