One of our valued guest service team members in the Philippines faced an emergency situation due to severe flash flooding caused by ongoing typhoons and monsoon rains. This is the first time they’ve experienced such a disaster that directly impacted their home, and it was caused internal and external damage by rising floodwaters.

They worked hard through the days to protect their belongings and ensure their family’s safety, Local evacuation centres are not suitable for remote work, and with power outages expected. The best place for Jerome to work from would be hotels and remote locations until internet is more reliable in his area. And this costs money to travel to the city and work from paid accommodations.

We’re aiming to raise some money to help cover immediate emergency costs like accommodation, food, and transportation. Every dollar counts and will go directly to helping a teammate navigate this difficult time.
