Kyle Davis Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
Hello, I am super Kyle's aunt, Haley Stevens. Kyle is a two year old boy who owns the hearts of many people surrounding him. Kyle was born on January 27th, 2014 to my sister, Chelsa, and her husband, Billy. My sister had a healthy pregnancy and delivery. Kyle was having some issues after he was born, but no one expected to hear that he was born with a rare brain aneurysm, a Vein of Galen Malformation. He was transported to Brenner's Children's Hospital where he would spend the first 71 days of his life. He went through his first embolization to work on reducing the size of his aneurysm at only eleven days old and went through the second at eighteen days old. He was given several blood transfusions, on different ventilators, and faced with challenges during his first 71 days alive. Kyle got to go home and his parents were elated! They knew that there would be a long road of recovery ahead to cure Kyle from his aneurysm, but they were prepared to do whatever they had to do. Kyle would undergo his third procedure when he was 9 1/2 months old. Everything went as planned and he was able to go home soon after. The plan was to do an embolization on his aneurysm as often as needed, which planned out to be every few months. Several successful procedures passed and everything was going well. Kyle went in for his seventh procedure on August 3rd, 2016. He suffered a stroke and ended up having right-sided weakness as a result. He was able to go home and continue his daily life to the best of his ability. He received physical and occupational therapy once a week to regain strength in his right side. Time passed and super Kyle would soon have his eighth embolization on November 3rd, 2016. The procedure itself went well and Kyle was on his way up to his room in the PICU at Brenner's when the unexpected happened. He developed an intraventricular bleed in his brain and was rushed to emergency surgery for a shunt and drain tubes. Baby Kyle has been chemically sedated and paralyzed for the past week and will stay in that state for another two to three weeks while the blood is drained from his brain. Due to Kyle being in the PICU for an extended stay, my sister isn't returning to work until he is home. All donations will go straight to Chelsa and Billy Davis, Kyle's parents, for living and travel expenses. Thank you in advance to everyone that is able to donate!
