Relief for Struggling Families in Lebanon
Donation protected
Lebanon is facing its biggest social and economical crisis in the past thirty years. The collapse in the economy, the currency, and the banking system have aggravated the financial situation of the majority of Lebanese families, pushing more than 50% of the population below the poverty line and nearly eliminating the middle class that formerly constituted the backbone of the economy.
The light at the end of the tunnel looks dim. Orphans, widows, ill patients, and elders have become primary victims of this unprecedented tragedy.
As part of our humanitarian duty, we have taken the initiative to collect and disburse financial assistance to twenty families from across the nation in desperate need of monetary relief. We have great faith that our Lebanese diaspora and friends of Lebanon will lend a helping hand during these tough times.
Our initial fundraising goal is $2,000 to be equally distributed amongst the 20 families. While $100 is a relatively small amount, it will help provide essential short term nourishment and medication to the struggling families.
We appreciate your generosity, kindness, and support to your fellow humans during these challenging times.
