South Georgia Wildlife Fire Relief – Field Response & Rescue Support
Wildfires across South Georgia have already burned tens of thousands of acres, displacing and injuring wildlife across multiple counties.
We are a locally organized field team operating with clearance from county and forestry officials to provide direct, on-the-ground support for affected wildlife.
What we will be doing:
•Deploying water stations in safe, approved zones
•Assisting with wildlife transport to licensed rehabilitators
•Monitoring impacted areas for injured or displaced animals
•Supporting rehabilitation efforts with critical supplies
What your donations fund:
•Water containers, troughs, and refill logistics
•Fuel for field vehicles covering large rural areas
•Wildlife transport crates and containment gear
•Protective equipment and field supplies
•Direct supply support for wildlife rehab partners
Fire response resources are focused on containment. Wildlife support is limited, and without intervention, many animals will not survive dehydration, injury, or displacement.
This effort fills that gap—safely, legally, and in coordination with officials.
