Why I'm Making This GoFundMe

I'm creating this GoFundMe because my medical expenses, which have been building up since early last year, have reached a point where I can barely keep going. Every month feels like a struggle to survive, and the constant stress of possibly losing everything has become too much to handle alone.

How Things Got to This Point

For years, I struggled with severe breathing issues caused by a bone spur in my nose that blocked around 80% of my airflow. In late 2021, I had surgery to fix the issue. For the first half of 2022, things finally felt normal. I could breathe, sleep, and function like a completely different person. Life became manageable again, and I felt hopeful.

Unfortunately, not long after my birthday that year, the problem returned. When I went back to my doctor, they told me the initial surgery had only provided a temporary fix. They admitted they weren’t confident they could fully resolve it at all.

After finally experiencing what a normal life felt like, it was incredibly difficult to go back to constant exhaustion and pain.

Toward the end of 2023, with help from my community, I moved across the country to an area with better access to specialists. Thankfully, that part worked out. I was able to get the breathing issue properly treated.

However, right after that, I discovered that my new apartment had a serious black mold problem. Because of my asthma and the fact that my nose was still healing, it caused severe health complications. Around the same time, a doctor took me off medications that I still needed, which only made things worse.

After losing access to those medications, I began experiencing stress-induced pseudo-seizures that seriously impacted my life. I tried my best to manage everything on my own while still recovering, but the combination of surgery costs, constant doctor visits, and complications with care quickly became overwhelming.

Eventually, my health declined to the point that I had to visit the emergency room.

When Things Started Spiraling

This situation didn’t start all at once. It began with the nose surgery, which led to the black mold exposure, which then triggered seizures and further complications. I had also been covering the costs of my 2.0 model and the unexpected move due to the black mold, which had heavily affected my finances.

But just as I was starting to feel like I could catch up, my income dropped drastically. It was a mix of the toll on my physical and mental health, and the added stress from personal issues that surfaced online in the past few months.

The debt kept building, and I started to feel like there was nothing I could do.

Why I Need Help Now

I’ve reached a point where I can’t continue to carry this alone. This GoFundMe is my way of asking for help to finally break out of this cycle so I can focus on healing and rebuilding without being buried by debt and the stress of losing everything.
