We never imagined we would be in this position, but we are reaching out with humble hearts during one of the most difficult seasons of our lives. At 32 weeks pregnant, I was unexpectedly diagnosed with preeclampsia, a serious and life-threatening condition. Things progressed quickly, and at 34 weeks I had to deliver our baby much earlier than planned. As a result, our precious baby spent an entire month in the NICU, fighting and growing stronger every single day. While we are incredibly grateful that our baby is here and doing well, the emotional, physical, and financial toll has been overwhelming. We are currently traveling 35 minutes each way, every day, back and forth to the hospital, making sacrifices just to be present for our child. During the weeks I was hospitalized and after delivery, my husband was unable to work, which put us behind on bills. On top of that, we are now facing mounting medical expenses from the hospital stay, NICU care, and ongoing needs. Asking for help is not easy for us, but we truly cannot do this alone.
