Relief for Myanmar's Earthquake Victims
Donation protected
My name is Ashley Hade, and for those of you who don’t know me, my boyfriend Eric Mcthane is from Myanmar. While we both live in the U.S., his grandmother and other family still live there, and thankfully were not harmed by the earthquake. But we are gathering donations to send over to help the Burmese people.
On March 28th, Myanmar was hit with a devastating 7.7 magnitude earthquake. The current death toll is over 3,000 with thousands more injured or missing.
Myanmar is a beautiful country filled with temples, stunning landscapes, and kind people who have been through so much. In the end of 2024, they were hit with severe flooding. And since 2021, they’ve been under a strict military government which oppresses its people and launched them into a civil war.
⭐️The money will go to Eric’s grandmother, a well-known shop owner in eastern city Taunggyi who is working with groups there to distribute funds for things such as food, medicine, and other relief efforts.
Thank you for your help!!
