Relief for Miguel Chavez's family
Our family is experiencing the most tragic outcome of the COVID pandemic. Miguel Chavez a Husband, Father, Step-father, and Grand-father of the Chavez and Segovia family was diagnosed with COVID-19 on August 29th, and was admitted into the hospital shortly after. Miguel fought bravely during every treatment available. When no progression was made, he was placed on a ventilator and ultimately on full life support. After three weeks, he finally tested negative, but the virus had done its damage. Unfortunately the doctors advised the damage would be permanent, and there will be no hope of recovery. Miguel is possibly on his last week of life, as doctors cannot continue treatment. Miguel was the breadwinner and leader of his household, leaving behind our mother, Maria Chavez and our thirteen year old brother, Miguel Chavez.
Miguel is an amazing man, he is a hard worker, and took myself and my two brothers as his step kids. He raised us, and took care of us as his own. Now it’s our turn to take care of him. We will never have enough words to truly describe the life he provided for us, we owe it all to him and God.
With a heavy heart, we ask for your continued prayers. However, the financial burden of funeral expenses, medical expenses, and living expenses will all suddenly fall onto our mother’s lap. Any help would be appreciated, and would allow the family to stay afloat, until we can get everything under control with the help of God.

Nuestra familia está pasando la experiencia más trágica de la pandemia de COVID. Miguel Chávez, esposó, padre, padrastro y abuelo de la familia Chávez y Segovia fue diagnosticado con COVID-19 el 29 de agosto y fue ingresado en el hospital poco después. Miguel luchó valientemente durante cada tratamiento disponible. Cuando no hubo progreso, se le colocó en un ventilador, en última instancia en pleno soporte vital. Después de tres semanas finalmente salió negativo, pero el virus había hecho su daño. Desafortunadamente los médicos informaron que los daños serían permanentes, y no habrá esperanza de recuperación. Miguel posiblemente esté en su última semana de vida, ya que los médicos no pueden continuar el tratamiento. Miguel fue el sostén de la familia y líder de su casa, dejando atrás a nuestra madre, María Chávez e hermano de trece años, Miguel Chávez.
Miguel es un hombre increíble, es muy trabajador, y nos adoptó a mis dos hermanos y a mi como sus hijastros. Nos crió y amó como sus propios hijos. Ahora es nuestro momento de cuidar de él. Nunca tendremos palabras suficientes para describir la vida que nos proporcionó, todo se lo debemos a él y a dios.
Con el corazón quebrado les pedimos sus continuas oraciones. Sin embargo, la carga financiera de los gastos funerarios, los gastos médicos y los gastos de vida diaria caerá repentinamente en el regazo de nuestra madre. Toda ayuda será agradecida y les mantendrá a flote, hasta que todo esté bajo control con la ayuda de Nuestro Señor Jesucristo
