I am writing on behalf of my dear friend, Melanie, to see if you can possibly help a girl out! Talk about one thing after another, oh my gosh. Melanie has kept her two-year battle with lymphoma under the radar on social media because she doesn’t want it to become her identity. She is enduring a chemo treatment every 90 days for 2 years now, indefinitely, and is just barely keeping her head above water, so to speak. I have created this Go fund me in hopes of relieving some of the undue stress on her financially - and to help her heal faster and to remain in remission. The treatments are rough. Mel and her 2 sweet little dogs need to pay rent and survive this, among other hardships. After over two years of this, she is running out of resources, so she has agreed to let me try to get her some much needed help.
So that was the original GoFundMe that Melanie wouldn’t let me launch in August, because she was concerned about people finding out that way - on social media. This will officially be the first online public mention of her cancer. Yikes!
So why launch now? Well…it gets worse. Now she has been given a 60 day Notice to move out of her beautiful ‘happy place’ cabin home of six years. Ouch. Mel and the 2 misfit toy canine children need help with this untimely move, to say the least! Funds and any help moving is appreciated and mandatory to the cause. It’s a LOT. Can we help her?
