We honestly don't know how to start; so we are not going to sugar coat this, and apologize in advance.
What the Herber family is going through is about as real and as raw as life can get. Nathan and his twin brother Justin just turned 4, and a week later he was dealt a very short hand with cancer. Instead of starting pre- school with his brother, he started surgery and intense Chemotherapy for Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma. For the sake of keeping this short, I will not go into details on his diagnosis, treatment, and progress; but I will leave a link to his Caring Bridge for those of you who would like more insight.
The family has 3 years of hardship ahead of them with living, and medical expenses piling up. They are faced with many hurdles ahead, and the emotional burden alone is crushing. As a family, we are trying to lighten this load for them by reaching out to others.
Lastly, we THANK YOU for reading this. It's been an eye opener to how precious "normal" life is, so please don't take it for granted.
