Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out to ask for your support for my dear friend, Lawton Carlton. Since 2009, he has endured relentless back pain due to three levels of flattened, bulging discs that no longer hold fluid. Some days, the pain is so severe that his wife has to help him get dressed—yet he still pushes through and goes to work, doing everything he can to provide for his family. He prays for strength every day, but the reality is that without surgery, his condition will only get worse.
On top of being a dedicated husband and father, Lawton also coaches his daughter’s softball team. He wants nothing more than to be the best coach and role model possible, but the pain makes it incredibly difficult to give his all on the field. This surgery is not just about relief—it’s about allowing him to stay active in his kids’ lives, to be present, and to keep doing what he loves.
The good news is that artificial disk replacement surgery can restore his quality of life. The bad news? While insurance will cover part of the procedure, Lawton is still responsible for $27,000 out of pocket. This is a heavy burden for a hardworking family man with a wife and two young children who depend on him.
We are asking for your kindness and generosity to help make this surgery possible. Any donation, big or small, will bring him one step closer to a pain-free life—one where he can play with his kids, support his family, and coach without being held back by pain.
Please consider donating and sharing this fundraiser with others. Your support and prayers mean the world!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Colin Harms
