Relief for Julia's Loved Ones
Donation protected
Update:
I was not able to articulate well what the need was as it has been a long few days. My sister in law summed it up very well:
"My sister in law has started a Go Fund Me; I want to be clear, because apparently there was some confusion, that NONE of the money will come to me and Jerry. We do not need it. It will be going to: travel expenses for family who came in from out of town, and MOST OF ALL, it will be going to Julia's 22 year old son, who in the course of the week tragically lost his mom, and left his entire life including his job, in Illinois behind to come here and move in with his grandmother to ensure she is cared for now that his mom is gone. Additionally, the funds will go to help cover funeral expenses for Julia. The family would appreciate support in ANY form, whether it be a donation, prayers, good thoughts, or sharing a memory of Julia to help us celebrate her life and remember her."
On March 18, 2025, we experienced the unimaginable tragic death of the youngest Davis child, Julia. She was the youngest of 4 children. She has two older brothers, Jerry and Jonatan, and one older sister, Jennifer. She also has one son, Jordan, who has been most affected as he is also next of kin. We have all been trying our best to support him and Taria (Julia's mother) as much as possible. I can confidently say that this has been very emotional and taxing on everyone.
Finances are being stretched about as far as they can go. Plans with the funeral home are being made/finalized today. Jordan has quite a bit on his shoulders with having to make the final arrangements and adjust to his new life here. We appreciate any prayers, well wishes, memories, and positive thoughts during this time.
