I have been in love with the people and the beautiful land of Jamaica for over a decade, traveling there often for work and building deep connections. Just this past week, I visited Falmouth and Montego Bay and was shocked by how little help is reaching those who need it most after Hurricane Melissa. The devastation is overwhelming—families are struggling to find clean water, safe shelter, and the basic necessities to survive. Places like Pelican Bay have been completely destroyed, and many people have lost everything.
What struck me most was seeing single parents and those without work trying to care for their children with almost nothing. The need is urgent, and I want to do everything I can to help. That’s why I’m raising funds to bring direct relief to the people of Jamaica this May 2026. I will be traveling through numerous Jamaican communities in May over a two week span. I will be with three local guides I know and trust, identifying those in the greatest need and distributing a percentage of the total funds we raise before my trip in May. This way, your support will go straight into the hands of those who need it most, providing immediate and life-changing help.
The money you see being raised in the States is not getting into the hands, mouths, or bodies of local Jamaicans. Something is wrong, and they need our help as fellow humans of the earth. Every little bit goes a long way in Jamaica. Please consider donating and sharing this fundraiser—together, we can make a real difference for families who have lost so much.
