Hi everyone, my name is Delvi Perez.

Recently, my hometown of Gaspar Hernandez in the Dominican Republic was hit hard by days of relentless rain. Theheavy downpours caused local rivers to flood, sweeping away homes and businesses, and leaving families with nothing more than the clothes on their backs.

I am starting this fundraiser to provide direct relief to the people of my hometown, many of whom have lost everything. The money raised will go directly toward:

* Supplying emergency food to families.

* Helping the community rebuild their destroyed homes.

* Purchasing school supplies for children who lost everything they had.
