Last year, a dear friend, social activist, and writer from the Nashville/Birmingham community suffered a devastating apartment fire, along with his beloved wife and cat. This fire destroyed many of their belongings and left them displaced for many months, after their new home was deemed unlivable.

Even with renter's insurance, they are facing a $36,250 financial crisis because of this fire—all while attempting to minister to their community and put down roots in a new city. This person has impacted the school they attended in town (Vanderbilt Divinity) forever and are incredibly deserving of this financial support.
