I am Leah, born in the Philippines. I now live in Canada.

On the night of September 30, 2025 at 9:59pm, our place in San Remigio, Cebu, Philippines along with other areas in Northern Cebu, has been severely impacted by a magnitude 6.9 earthquake. Buildings crumbled, homes were destructed, roads impassable making it a place of devastation. Lives were also lost. As of the moment, the aftershocks continue to shake the place making the people stay outdoors but even in the midst of destruction, hope prevails.

We are currently raising funds for their relief goods, and your contribution can be a beacon of light in these challenging times. As of the moment, they are in need of drinking water, food and essential necessities that can bring comfort and sustenance.

My network of friends in the affected area will mobilize in the distribution of food, water, essential supplies. Funds will be withdrawn to my Canadian account and will be sent to my niece Joewilee Bacolod of Cebu who will purchase the supplies. We will post photos receipts and updates. For those willing to share and donate, any amount will do and together, we can turn compassion into action, making a tangible difference in the lives of those affected.
