Hi this is Marty, son of Damian Capello and Mary Mills. Unfortunately Damian has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that has spread and is causing internal bleeding. Damian is in good spirits but weak and tired. He is receiving blood transfusions and has already gone through radiation therapy. He is currently set to start immunotherapy in a couple weeks.

Damian is a Tampa staple here in the pine Crest area and also down in South Tampa. He works everyday, 5 days a week at work in S. Tampa, and all weekend fixing the neighbors cars. Everyone loves Damian and his positive attitude and loving demeanor. We have all trusted his honest opinion about our cars, and we have all appreciated time talking and joking with Damian. We don’t know what the future holds but we are staying positive and taking each day as they come.

Unfortunately, now that Damian is not working there is limited income coming into the house. I have moved back for however long and will be contributing to the house income but medical bills will start adding up soon. My mom, Mary, has been super positive and loving while taking care of Damian, but she is scared of the unknown. We appreciate any help, truly.
