Relief for Clay

Donation protected
This is my 21 yr old son Clay. Many of you have followed his story. Clay has suffered stomach illness since 2017. For 2 years it went improperly diagnosed. On March 6, 2020 Clay went into DeKalb ER and ended up in ICU. We were told he had pancreatitis but was stable. 20 min later he coded with 6 min of no pulse. An hour later we were at Parkview and he was hooked up to full life support. There we were told he had acute pancreatitis and multiple organ failure and we would likely loose him. So the nightmare began. I will try to sum it up to date. Clay spent a very rocky 6 weeks in Coma. Since then he has been on hopsital more than not. Each time he was able to get sent home with in home care he ended up back in hospital within week and last big stay was a straight 65 days with massive infection. We have almost lost him 4 times. He is currently back in ICU due to severe hemorrhaging however hoping to try to come home again soon. Because of Clays condition he is going to be unable to work for quite sometime. His fiance and 3 year old son reside at home. She is keeping up as best she can. Clay currently has over 750,000 in med debt from when Medicaid lapsed. We are reaching out to financial outlets but they are all a time consuming process. Also waiting on the possibility of SSI. In the meantime they are trying to maintain their home and basic necessities. During all this his fiances purse was stolen and had rent money order was in it pushing their rent back a month and putting them into eviction process. I am reaching out to this again because it has helped along the way of this rough time. I want Clay to be able to be focused on healing without worrying about where his family will live and food on table while they await funding. We are so thankful for the love, support, prayers and donations. God is so so good. Clay has seen Gods mercy and grace in this all. He is healing Clay slowly but surely. He will be our literal million dollar child. I am just praying God allows more blessings to come financially to see them through this very difficult time. God bless you all.
