Hi! My name is Juliet and as a lot of you may know , I am an avid cat lover. My kitty ,cinnamon, managed to sneak out the door when I was leaving for work and he unfortunately went missing for about a week. After searching for him nearly every night with no luck , setting his litter box outside , etc. He finally came back home today very injured, lethargic, and limping. I took him to the nearest veterinary hospital and I’m now faced with the unforeseen bills. It appears he was attacked and has 2 punctures near his ankles. The doctor wants to take x-rays, but that alone is around 200-300 dollars. I already paid 200 towards the exam fee and I’m left with only 500 to cover the rest of his medical bills. I don’t wish this on anyone , I feel so bad and I chose to skip work to tend to him, which is money i wanted to use towards his care. Regardless, i’m glad i did because the wound is infected and time would have been working against us. I’m not someone who likes to ask for help, but I think every living animal deserves to live and these poor babies don’t deserve to be hurt or punished for their natural behaviors. Therefore, covering these bills will also help me have some relief to get him neutered asap.
