As some of you know the last two years I’ve been waiting on a kidney. With that comes unexpected costs, which is frustrating when your dad pays 32k a year for healthcare, don’t have to get into that though. I went to Cleveland clinic to try to get listed there and increase MY chances of a miracle, got listed everything went well(went through insurance), couple months later to be slapped with a 10k bill from just a few tests and bloodwork. Then to call and for them to say it was “out of network”, again, crazy considering the healthcare plan my family and I have. This resulted in me pulling myself off that list, obviously. On top of this, I had to switch from at home dialysis(PD) to in center dialysis(hemodialysis) due to complications, and found out that somehow someway, I have to pay 30$ out of pocket every time I go into clinic to get LIFE SAVING CARE, 120$ a week. Doesn’t seam like a lot to some, but it adds up especially considering the rest of the bills. When your father busts his but for you to have the best care possible, and you still get screwed it hurts. With that being said, I’m reaching out to my friends, family, and community to help me and my family out. I’m not ashamed to ask for help, it’s been two years of this already, hopefully not much longer, but it’s not easy physically,emotionally, nor financially. I know my parents would give up everything for this to end for me, I would appreciate any help through the go fund me. I understand that times are also tough financially for many people right now, a share goes a long way online, and even more importantly all the prayers I know all of you have sent my family and my way.
