There's been a devastating earthquake in northern part of Cebu, Philippines. The 6.9-magnitude quake hit on September 30, 2025, and its impact has been severe. At least 72 people lost their lives, and over 294 were injured. The quake caused widespread destruction, including collapsed buildings and damaged roads.

I've been following the news and staying in touch with family in Cebu, and it's heartbreaking to see the impact it's had on the people there. Families have been separated, people are trapped under rubble, and hospitals are overwhelmed with patients. Thousands of families have lost their homes and are in desperate need of basic necessities like shelter, food, and water.

Our church, family, and friends in Cebu have been coming together to provide aid and support, which is amazing. They've been tirelessly working to deliver essential supplies, including food, water, and even setting up temporary shower stations for those sheltering at a local chapel grounds. However, many families are still left without relief.
