Relief for Barbara's Trigeminal Neuralgia

Hello, my name is Nathan and this is my mom Barbara. My mom is such a strong willed person but lately a recent neurological disorder has made her almost immobile. She was diagnosed with a condition called Trigeminal Neuralgia. This condition causes chronic pain in one of the facial nerves (my mom describes this as sparking). She is on several medications and while they sometimes can get her relief, it is a toss up whether she’ll have a flare while driving or working. The next step is surgery. This surgery would target the facial nerves causing her pain essentially deadening it. The surgery isn’t always 100% fool proof, but we need to try something, and anything is better than seeing my mom in pain.
