my dad had a deep-seated right hemisphere stroke on 4/9. This has left him unable to speak or swallow, and he now has to be fed through a PEG tube. The sudden change has been overwhelming for my mom and him, and they are facing a challenging road ahead. Medical hospital bills are mounting, and the cost of tube feeding food and essential medications is adding to the financial strain. My mom is taken care of him full time because he is unable to speak him being alone is unsafe. We are working towards finding more speech programs to help him, unfortunately insurance will only cover so much, if you are able to help we appreciate it, anything is helpful. 

The funds raised will go directly toward covering medical expenses, purchasing tube feeding supplies, and ensuring my dad receives the medications he needs. We also hopes to enroll him in extra speech programs to aid his recovery and give him the best chance at regaining his ability to communicate.
