Hi everyone,

I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of a close friend and her family during an incredibly difficult and overwhelming time.

Over a year ago, she lost her full-time job. Since then, she has only been able to work two days a week, doing everything she can while caring for their three young children. The family has already been stretched thin and relying primarily on one income just to get by.

Right before the holidays, their situation took a devastating turn. Her husband became critically ill and was hospitalized with sepsis caused by necrotizing fasciitis in his leg—a life-threatening condition that required emergency surgery. He has already undergone one major surgery and will need additional procedures, including skin grafting, as part of his recovery.

Because of his condition, he is currently unable to work, which means the family has now lost their only stable source of income. Between mounting medical bills, ongoing treatment, and basic household expenses, they have fallen behind and are struggling to stay afloat.

Funds raised will help cover:

    •    Medical and hospital bills

    •    Upcoming surgeries and recovery costs

    •    Rent, utilities, and essential household expenses

    •    Groceries and necessities for their three children

This family is loving, hardworking, and never expected to face something like this. Any donation—no matter how small—will help relieve some of the pressure and allow them to focus on healing and caring for their children during this incredibly difficult season.
