Relief for Charles "Dinky" Miller's Medical bills

*UPDATE*
Sadly my father passed away November 25th at 2:52pm. His battle was short and he was blessed to not have suffered very long. If this journey has taught me anything, it's to urge people to see their doctor regularly and not to dismiss pains as "getting old". Please, if you will, in his honor, make an appointment with your doctor and get your yearly scans done. If his mistake can save your life, I know he would be proud of you. And as always, FUCK CANCER!

Charles "Dinky" Miller is my dad. He's 61. And he wants to live long enough to see my 14 year old turn into the man he will become. We would love to get out to fish again together, and of course get our traditional Skyline meals together. I wish this for him. I wish he didn't have to fight this. I wish there was a magic pill that would kick his cancers butt. I love my dad. My son loves his Papaw. I'm still numb to it and struggling with it. Bills are piling and he's not working and we really need help here.

Stage 4

Those were the words that changed our lives. The words that told us that this upcoming journey would be long, and hard. A road nobody ever wants to travel. But here we are. Galloping cautiously as the days go by. Days of waiting. Days of ups and days of downs. Days of laughter and often tears. Days of wondering what things are coming. Very little is known. No answers have come for the difficult questions just yet. And that is very hard for him.

But we are hopeful.

Stage 4 lung cancer(metastatic adenacarcinoma) that has spread to his lymph nodes, liver, adrenal glands, bones and his brain. He also developed leptomeningeal carcinomatosis. That's what we are focusing on first. Hes in the middle of his radiation treatments for the tumors in his brain. And as long as that does the job, we will be moving on to chemo and immunotherapy. It's a long journey ahead but we've got this!!

We debated even starting one of these but we were urged by those who also went through it with their families and said it was a blessing to get the help they desperately needed no matter how hard it was to ask. They loved the positive comments as they really lifted their spitis when they needed them the most.
If you could help in any way, we would be so very appreciative. Any little bit helps. Who knows if we will raise what we may need or pass our goal but anything is better than nothing.

Dreary as the days we are in where the cool whisp of wind brushes our cheeks and felt in our bones.

Winter is coming. When outdoor activities are few as the weather sends chills down our spines, and the warmth of sun seems to evade our spirits, the hope we have for brighter days light up the path to the future.

So far this journey has had it's challenges, and I am aware that there will be plenty more, and plenty worse. But with faith and hope, we can prevail.

Thank you all for your love and support. ❤️
