We are Shop And Donate (RCN: 1195163). We aid people in fighting food poverty, food waste and food insecurity, as well as support those with mental health issues, reducing loneliness, enhancing health, and building resilient communities by creating welcoming spaces.

We are proud to be partnering with Brixton Soup Kitchen in a humanitarian effort to provide vital food and relief supplies to communities in Jamaica that have been severely affected by Hurricane Melissa. The devastation caused by the hurricane has left countless families without access to food, clean water, and essential resources. In response, our organisation and Brixton Soup Kitchen are collaborating to send two large containers of food and essential supplies, each costing approximately £8,000, bringing the total shipping cost to £16,000. To ensure a successful and sustainable operation, we are seeking to raise £20,000 in total, which will not only cover transportation and logistical expenses but also allow us to include additional food items. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to social responsibility and community solidarity—extending our mission beyond the UK to support those in dire need abroad. Through our established networks, we aim to ensure that the supplies reach the most vulnerable communities quickly and efficiently, working closely with local organisations in Jamaica to oversee fair and transparent distribution. This initiative is not just about providing short-term relief; it is about showing compassion, fostering unity across borders, and giving hope to families struggling to rebuild their lives in the wake of a natural disaster.
